It personalized Ww1 without falling into stereotypes. You'll care about these people and experience some of the horrors of war that will put a tear in your eye. I dont like war movies. Go see this anyway. I'm thinking it will win a wack of Oscars.

8/10 beautifully shot with depression area labor camps included and two star actors doing their thing. I enjoyed it. Distracted me from my cold ! Little slow moving at times but chasing after Bonnie and Clyde wouldn't be non stop action. I wouldn't have given theatre money for it but say 5$ worth of the Netflix monthly money, sure.

Extraordinary. Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey JR. standouts. You think it's just a movie about the atomic bomb but that's just setting up the political machinations of Act 3. If you want to see real actors doing real acting about a real issue go see it
