I cannot understand the negative reviews of this show. As always, Catherine Tate has provided us with a brilliant character, who on first appearance we should hate or be frustrated with, but who is so mesmerizing that it's hard to think wrongly of her. Tate's characters are always of those which cause controversy, much like Lauren, nan, the posh mum... she perfectly captures unique observations of so many people and turn them into hilarious and joyful moments on screen. With Princess Georgiana, Tate has not only created this hilarious character who is outrageous, improper, and comically rude, but has also created pockets of heartfelt moments for different people to relate to. From being bullied, letting family members down, finding bonds with people who we initially didn't get on with, down to falling in love with someone we shouldn't. I'm so disappointed that this show came to such an abrupt end after only 1 series. A show with great promise and potential has been let down by the BBC. Catherine Tate, you are a marvel!
