I would have given it 2 stars because the set and costumes were awesome. But it’s getting 1 because of all the bafflingly high reviews this movie got. The movie is 3hr 30min of bland story telling, there’s no climax to the story and any emotional connection between characters feels forced. It’s such a shame, knowing the history there is so much to work with. The ending should have drawn some emotion, you should feel angry that justice really was never served. But, that’s not conveyed well at all, and the ending is done so poorly it’s crazy unsatisfying. This movie does a disservice to the tragic story of the Osage people and the people who reviewed it so high are SO full of it.
