Okay, I watched a few episodes and I must admit that out of all the Kdramas I ever bothered to watch, this one takes the cake. The first episode in tells you about the characters simply through showing, and not telling.
You meet both of the main characters, and immediately you learn that the main female character is strong, capable, and willing to push through for the career that she loves. She is a finger, as one may learn, but you realize that even though she is obsessed, she holds a boundary line for how far she'd go for it. She had a chance to force meet her idol, but instead she only took pictures of him quietly and respectfully. Being a former fangirl myself, it's nice that they show being heavily interested in something can still be healthy and non-intrusive.
You also meet Ryan Gold (yes, I remember him but not her name?) who is the main male character. At first, he seems off-putting and cold. But later you realize that despite the misunderstanding, he takes action that let's you know he is a good-hearted person who was willing to give up something in an act of kindness. You learn how well their chemistry works just by the first episode in.
I think if anyone has the time, they hold watch this show because it's far morerl realistic than what I usually watch, and I actually root for the characters to get together because of their personalities.
