I remember having seen this movie long back........and having enjoyed it a lot On a second viewing however I realize that this is actually way worse than what I had believed when I was a kid PROS : This movie is decent for kids below 10......or for people with the mental capacity of someone below 10. The songs are decent even if they are a bit in your face. The animation stands the test of time for me and it doesn't feel poor. CONS : The movie has got almost no real plot. It tries to be a father son story, an underdog story and a sci fi story all at the same time. It's humour is slapstick at best, and most of the jokes fall flat more often than not. The father son relationship feels incredibly strained and it seems almost uncomfortable to watch. The ending is literally ridiculous and you are left wondering whether this movie was supposed to have a moral or something. Themes like bullying and parenting are treated pretty poorly and it really doesn't seem like anyone made an effort with the film. Perhaps the biggest problem is that none of the characters are memorable except possibly chicken little. You want to root for him but apart from that every other character is sloppily written and doesn't really add anything to the movie. Final Thoughts : This movie was a moderate success when it released and was liked somewhat by audiences. However it's a classic example of a movie ageing badly and at this point it would feature in the worse half of animated movies. It's not a movie that I'd recommend to anyone.

Way late to the party but I finally saw this movie today. Heard a lot of critics praising it and a lot of public opinion against it. I have to say I did not agree at all with most of the criticism this movie received. It's a genuinely moving and at times heartbreaking tale. The acting is phenomenal especially by the two leads. Shailene Woodley was an absolute scene stealer. Overall this movie was well worth the praise it received and I would hope that it's one of those movies that improve with time. P.S. : With regards to the numerous complaints against this film, most of them revolve around the fact that the character played by Miles Teller never gets his comeuppance. I feel like that's a choice that the filmmakers had and they decided to go with a rather different take on the classic dramedy Loved the movie and absolutely recommend it to everyone.

Casino is one of the greatest films directed by one of the greatest directors ever. But does it stand the test of time? The Good : Right of the bat this movie is breathless and I mean genuinely breathless. Right from the first shot there is not a single moment in this film which is out of place or doesn't further the plot. It's got incredible acting by almost everyone but Joe Pesci was for me the standout performer. The plot is fantastic and is presented in a great way. Also the background score and use of songs is superb. This movie has a great deal of violence and cursing but none of it seems out of place and instead helps to set the stakes up. The Bad : Literally the only fault I have from this movie is that it's too good 😂. I mean this movie just doesn't let up and some people might find it too fast. Final Thoughts : This is easily one of the best mob movies I have ever seen and is an absolute classic. I would recommend this movie to anyone and everyone who's even remotely interested in the crime genre. An absolute must-watch!

When I read the description of the movie I was highly intrigued by it. After watching the movie though I feel it's not a very accurate description. The Good : It has got a decent story with one good twist somewhere towards the end. The songs are classics and it does manage to make you laugh on some occasions. The cast is well suited and Om Prakash is quite a treat to watch. The Bad : The film suffers from the inclusion of way too many elements and subplots. Especially in the final 30 minutes, it tries to cram in as many tropes and themes as it can and the result seems a bit messy. The story is not very gripping and had the movie been edited better it would have been a way greater watch. The songs are featured at abrupt times and as a result the movie doesn't flow along as well. Action sequences seem like slapstick comedy and there's way too much unnecessary backstory as well as plot devices that are used. This could be considered a problem of many old Bollywood movies as well. Final Verdict : The movie is entertaining and worth a one time watch. However it is not Hrishikesh Mukherjee's best work.

This movie is yet another nuanced and breezy film from the southern part of the country......but how good is it? The Good : First up the cast is superb. Every single actor feels perfectly natural and the chemistry between them is beautiful to watch. The movie has a simple plot but superb acting keeps it moving forward. The cinematography is superb, right from simple shots taken in a room to gorgeous sunsets amid the Western ghats. There is a nice subtle sense of humour and most importantly some great use of editing. One of the particular highlights of the movie is a butterfly effect sort of scene which is amazingly shot. The Bad : There are occasions in the movie when it seems a bit slow and drawn out. But perhaps the biggest drawback of the movie is the way it has been described on Google. I went in expecting an unconventional revenge movie. Instead I got a slice of life movie which had more of romance and drama in it than revenge. That's not a drawback exactly but I was honestly confused while watching the movie. Final Thoughts : This movie is a delightful tale. It's neither profound nor epic. But it is a small work of art which you will thoroughly enjoy

The only blockbuster film to release in 2019 is this absolutely wacky and mind bending movie from the exceptional Christopher Nolan. The Good : This movie is grand in an absolutely amazing sense. The action scenes are spectacular and you love to see the physics getting inverted. The background score is probably a tad bit too thrilling as it doesn't let up for a single instant. The basic premise of the movie is so refreshingly original that it truly blows your mind just thinking about it. The Bad : Unfortunately this movie is almost impossible to understand after a single viewing. The plot is terribly complicated and the film just doesn't let up between scenes. It just keeps going forward at a breakneck speed making it very tough to follow. There is relatively poor character development except for the few main characters. Perhaps the biggest issue with the movie is that it fails to successfully connect with the audience and so even when we know the stakes we don't feel invested in it. Also the end is satisfactory but not satisfying in the sense movies like Inception or the Prestige were. Final Thoughts : This movie is probably Nolan's most ambitious movie ever and it shows. While a phenomenal movie throughout this is definitely one of those that both deserves and needs a second viewing.

Bad Boys For Life is the third outing of Mike and Marcus as they go up against a new villain with "a history" The Good : If you are even reading this review you know what to expect. There are actually quite a few positives in the movie. The action is great and even the fight choreography looks great. The cinematography and the colour scheme of the movie delivers yet again and the costumes are great. Perhaps best of all Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are spectacular yet again and their chemistry shines through like anything. Even the villain in this movie is way more interesting than the previous two. The Bad : Well as expected this movie doesn't have a really intense plot or any originality. It's formulaic especially with respect to the final showdown. Some character decisions are very weird particularly that of one of the villains. Also some people might be stunned by the violence in the movie though personally I enjoyed that. Final Thoughts : For fans of the franchise or action buffs or even buddy cop lovers this movie delivers the goods. It's quite possibly the best of the series and is an overall treat to watch.
