I have enjoyed Vampyre films since i was a toddler (yes! ) as my folks were into the macabre. All the Vamp films i have seen so far have the same basic story line, lots of blood sucking and the protagonist is really Dark. El Conde is, to this Vamp lover, a breath of fresh air! (or a waft of stale air from a crypt! ) Clever twist on the ways of Vampirism! Brilliant in every way! So Unique in the storytelling and the narrator is ....im not gonna spoil that. Wont go deep as i do not want to spoil ANYTHING. it is a moderately paced film, B/W and gratefully so, colour would diminish it! Wish i had written it! Absolutely 5 Stars for originality! Watch this!
