Simon Yates – Google

Holmes poorly portrayed, Watson not much better. Not a taut thriller, weak direction and too much waffle. The culminating scene with the Prime Minister (Geilgud) picked up pace and was better. Clearly a film for the American market, with cheesy scenes of Old London Town including Tower Bridge in the distance (which didn't exist then) and a very odd looking St Paul's.
