According to me the movie is superb overall, did not bored me even for a second. The movie has depictions of important events of our country like emergency, killing of Indira Gandhi and the anti-Sikh riots that followed, Babri demolition, Anna Agitation and many more. It is a character centric movie with each main character with his/her own uniqueness. Though from a critical viewpoint I have to admit that few things in the movie is far from reality & logic. And as many people are saying Aamir Khan's performance could have been better given a actor of his calibre.
