This movie is objectively bad lol. I'm not mad I saw it though. I did laugh a few times and I love romcoms so I enjoyed it. I also enjoy lifetime movies, so the bar isn't high. The acting in this movie is not good, it was not believable, and there were lots of parts that were just ridiculous. My favorite character was the koala.

I did not care about any of the characters. The interactions between characters felt forced, which I couldn't decide whether it was because of bad writing or just bad acting. I ended up fast forwarding through several parts that added nothing to the story.

This show is very scripted which is actually not something that bothers me about a show, as long as it's entertaining. I stopped watching this show, not because of it being scripted but because I found myself infuriated by Julia's behavior. I initially thought, wow, what an awesome story and so inspiring. But then kept watching and saw the horror unfold. She continuously disregards other people's boundaries to push her own beliefs on them. I couldn't believe how she behaved toward Robert and also toward the woman who reached out to her for advice. She said to the woman "how do you feel?" (After forcing a makeover on her without asking if that would even be ok) And then cut the woman off and started talking about herself yet again. So narcissistic. I'm appalled and stopped watching because of her.
