This is a great movie. Kate Winslet is exceptional in the role of Lee Miller.

Some great moments in this movie, but the plot is too complicated. This could have been a really good movie - less is certainly sometimes more!

This is a real gem of a movie, although will likely only appeal to a niche market. It helps if you have an understanding of Freud’s work and his contribution to psychotherapy. It could have been strengthened by a more genuine German accent from Hopkins. Sometimes the little details can make a great movie exceptional.

A terrible show. Can’t believe Hot Seat was replaced by this show. Very disappointed.

From the reviews, this movie appears to polarise the audience - love it or hate it! I am in the latter camp. A terrible attempt at creating a complex and thought provoking plot - I kept looking for the dots to join that never eventuated. There were endless sub plots that did not connect as a whole. One or two of these could have been chosen as a central plot line to underpin the story. Glad it was on Netflix and not a $25 cinema ticket!

I have not read the book, but I suspect a great story has been trashed in this movie. Even Oprah has no screen presence and Reece Witherspoon is ordinary. It has some big name actors, but fails to capture your imagination. No one in my family, including kids and adults enjoyed this movie. It was very hard to wait until the end to turn it off.
