John Chalmers

Joaquin Phoenix is magnificent as always but the film itself, while admirably setting the scene for Batman's Nemesis, is needlessly cruel and brutal. Not for the faint hearted. I came out of the cinema feeling numbed rather than thrilled.

A bit slow to get going but really good once all the main names got together. Jeff Goldblum legendary with his comments and the T Rex is still king of the beasts. Great stuff.

For such a stellar cast, despite the odd humorous line, it was very disappointing.
