I loved it. I went with no expectations. Enjoyed the steady pace and found it engaging. I guess it's not for everyone. Maybe one has to be a fan of the comics or needs an artistic perspective to see how well it has been shot, or perhaps it takes an empath if not a psychopath to truly appreciate the beauty of it. The performances are stellar. Joaquin phoenix's commitment to the character is phenomenal. Not once could I ever imagine anyone else pulling off what he does. All in all 5 stars.

It gave me a headache. It's a bad movie right from the start but takes a turn for the worse after the interval and the climax is just unbearable. Acting is insufferable. The humour is just plain stupid. Each scene seems like a cheap imitation of different movies like twilight, Avengers, tangled/frozen, etc, just to name a few. Do yourselves a favour and don't waste your time and hard earned money on this.
