Certainly a great novel. I love the whole series. Rowling is a superb story teller. However, Robin undercover on that UHC 'farm', in the totalitarian atmosphere of oppression and abuse, especially with Robin's personal experience of rape ... It triggered quite a lot of emotions in me, and I found it at times almost unbearable to read. I felt the fear almost physically in my guts and had to remind myself again and again that this is fiction. It was such a relief when Robin got out again (a very narrow escape!) and the story turned again into a more 'normal' crime story.
