Great visuals, but horrible writing and directing. Justice Smith’s acting is flat and uninspired. Ryan Reynolds is great as Deadpool but was a very off-putting as Pikachu. Kathryn Newton was terrible; cheesy and cringe inducing, kinda like the movie as a whole. It’s like they spent a movie budget on the visuals but tv cartoon budget on the writing and directing.
