If you were looking for nostalgia, you will love it. Personally I thought there would be much more nuance to the film. I felt TG1 was much more realistic, (spoiler alert) maverick ejecting out of an aircraft at Mach 10 was a little disappointing. After maverick and rooster are shot down behind enemy lines, manage to steal a fully operational F-14 Tomcat and escape enemy airspace while eliminating two 5th generation fighters with not much of a fight. Flying scenes were undeniably awesome, but I personally didn’t want all the nostalgia and unrealistic flying. I get it, though. The movie is made for movie goers, not aviators.

It was so cliche I honestly was able to predict the whole movie except the Wild West duel. A little disappointed but still necessary to watch for die hard fans.

A game about space and you can take off, land, and freely explore. Very disappointed.
