What is there about Shakespeare---even a mention--that causes set designers to go mad with excess?
I can't carp about the acting. That was the least of this film's problems. The dialogue was often jarring with a snitch of a few famous lines coming out back to back with modern talk.
And how or why did we have a witch lifted from Macbeth and young, active love from Romeo and Juliet?
Aarggh.
