I have walked with Jesus for 42 years and read hundreds of "Christian" books. Without any doubt Gentle and Lowly is now among the most important works to influence my daily walk with my Savior. Dane Ortlund showed me that what I thought the love of Christ was and how it applied to my life was, in many ways, unbiblical at worst and unprofitable at best.
