Amazing acting and cinematography. Nebraska focuses on a father/son relationship, whereas, the plot provides insight on the predatory nature of friends and family who are seeking undeserved reparations. The realistic dialogue, awkward pauses, and the shockingly, gutter mouthed mother complete the film. I'm a sucker for a road trip films and this one does not disappoint. The ending is brilliant. This is a feel good movie and one of my all time favorites. Yes, this is exactly how folks in the midwest dress, talk and act.
