I am so glad that Netflix and other platforms exist to believe in potential, take a chance from time to time & most importantly to get out of the way and let magical creations such as Maniac have a chance to come to life. Maniac has real genius in it. It's downright wonderfully weird, compelling, touching, twisted, funny exciting & surprising on every level. I scrolled past it for months on Netflix never having heard a word about it. I was looking for something new to watch and finally gave it a try one night. I've watched the whole series five times through now. I'm the type of person that likes to see every little detail, call back reference, foreshadow to really soak it all up when something this rare and beautiful with so much talent behind it makes its way into the light. Fall in love with how visually spectacular something is and continue to gain appreciation for such works of art. do yourself a favor and watch this immediately and give it all the way through episode 3. if you're not hooked by at the end of episode 3 it's just not your thing but I would find that hard to believe🤓
