Abigail Hausman

Like many others we watched this expecting it to be a light-hearted, funny Eddie Murphy movie and I seriously cannot understate how terribly written, weirdly timed, and poorly done this movie was. We legitimately almost turned it off numerous times because it was SO bad, and we probably should have. We looked up reviews immediately after and are convinced most of the good reviews are fake and/or paid for. The movie was so cringy and awkward but not in entertaining ways at all, much of it made no sense and it seemed like the direction was all over the place, with it going downhill almost immediately. I don't even rate movies often as I am usually fairly easy to please, but this is an honest warning--do not waste your time.
