Okay first off I went into this game blind so that I could make an unbiased personal choice. So this is coming from someone who knew nothing coming In aside from the fact this installment was centered around Ellie. So let's start off with graphics the game is the prettiest ps4 games I've ever played maybe in general. Big open scenes, to claustrophobic areas the game looks the part. Next Is gameplay it feels amazing the gameplay is similar to the first with tweaks to improve on the combat and movement. But even in the first one I always felt it was clunky on purpose to make it more serious and gritty. The stealth is difficult but satisfying. There are a few technical minor bugs that dint really impact anything. And finally of course the story I now know how controversial the fact someone who is so crucial to the first game was taken out the game so early and unceremoniously is harsh. But for me personally while it sucked and I hated it I feel an argument can be made that this was intentional to show a few things A: no one is safe and B: this world is cold, heartless, and soul wrenching. While it was much I can see what they were going for and while I haven't beaten the game I do like it alot so far and if this changes I will edit this post till then I stand by th I implore you to see past the death of a character.
