For what it all could have been, I was hoping for a full, open world like RDR2 or even breakpoint. The lack of on foot pirate experience completely killed it for me. Once I realized it was ship only, with mmo elements rather than plundering everything as a pirate would, I lost interest within 2 hours. If being a pirate is playing by the rules, play this boring game.
