Cofused as to why Picard and Data have this new friedship as if they were Spock and Kirk. Data and Picard never really got along and Data's true best fried was Geordi. In this show they trying to clarify the Romulan 'star going super nova' gap from the show and movie. It actually takes million of years for this to slowly happen.An advance Romulan race would be aware... So spoiler alert! Show writters setting up for some kinda sabatoged star plot, where the humans did this on purpose for some of kind set up for a secret society(probably android lovers or Borge body snatchers) that wants to take over federation. Also didn't Data and Picard avoid each other during the show. Will keep watching a bit to see where this goes.
