Too many details and unnecessary content. Half of the book had nothing to do with the story. Why write so much about the trip the mother had before the accident and waste paragraphs about the mechanic? who cares about the neighbour's military background? As a reader, I am not interested in knowing the detailed past of each and every character of the story. Very disappointed as a lot of my time went into reading not-so-important content.
I also tried reading the book IT but a few pages later I realised it's going to be the same non-important stuffs just to make the book big. So I stopped reading it.
I guess it is the writer's style to write about everything even if it has nothing to do with the main topic.
I prefer to read smaller books as long as the story is clear and the details are not out of context.
I will never waste my time reading Stephen King's books no matter how tempting the titles are.
