When you think of Battlefield you think awesome open maps with closely designed weapons & vehicle’s to achieve incredible game play. Furthermore, most Battlefield players are drawn to the franchise because of the realism of weapons and physics.
Additionally, WW2 gives a great platform through possibility in direction of the game. The historically depth in battles and stories through Victoria crosses & The knights cross have been missed. Which could of highlighted the main dangers and stunning tasks achieved by the human mind and body as a team or solo.
Bad points
- In accurate weapon noises.
- Gun size/ratio is off.
- Very low weapon damage (feels like potato guns) especially snipers, sometimes giving damage between 50-60 to the torso.
- Restrictive maps, you can’t go anywhere on the map within the zone like previous BFs.
- Personally I would of like a D-day beach map.
Good points
- Tanks and planes are good replicas and fun to drive/fly.
- Squads is more essential.
Overall, compared to previous Battlefield this game feels poorly designed, presenting no improvement on any previous Battlefield and more like an arcade game(going backwards) The game feels very cheap giving minimal historical accuracy. I expected big things from this game. I hope the next game can salvage the realism we all left Call of Duty for.
