This show has a vary weak grasp of the reality of what nurses do. (Spoiler) within the first 10 minutes new nurses (some just out of school) are thrown into the ER are are responsible for patients right away. One is sent to the ICU almost immediately. It’s as if the show’s creators either did not bother to learn what is required of a nurse who goes on to specialize or they simply don’t care. I have been waiting for a good show that focuses on the nursing profession, and it looks like I will keep on waiting.
