This movie was excellent. If you don't know anything about the original cats production then perhaps you should brush up on it before seeing it. It was true to the orginal story and actually outperformed it as well. It does not deserve the level of criticism its received and the amount of ignorant comments is apalling. How is the CGI any less palatable than actors on a stage dressed in cat costumes with painted faces. I've never been so disappointed with the theater going public.
