I waited for this movie. The initials, the all that announcing trailors, they've promised so much.
The movie just didn't stand up to those. I left it after some 70 percent of tedious effort to watch it.
For starters, i could never get the storyline itself. I mean, what is being conveyed at all. Why did selina reveal her face. Why is Riddler the actual vigilante. What's batman doing in this movie.
It might be the shadow of predecessors, but Nolan has so far set a standard that seems fairly impossible to meet.
Lets just take that scene where the C-4 bomb happens. "An hour before", that's all, there is to convey it. And what's most painful is that the "Alfred, you're not my father", was never graced with an apology, but then i might have paused the watching too soon".
I will watch again, to complete the movie. Tomorrow, but I'm just worried, that an 8.1 rating to this movie, with an excessively and meaninglessly red background, is setting a bad example to those who follow IMDb.
Let me watch the trailer again, so feel that oomph, that should probably help finish the remaining movie tomorrow.
I hope tomorrow arrives, but since I'm a closure freak, i think i will make it will itself to happen.
