Gameplay: The game is extremely addictive and engaging, side quests which are in the form of doing bounties for survival camps are rewarding and fun. The progression system of weapons, bike upgrades and Perks makes the game fresh, exciting and by the end of the game you feel like an unstoppable power house!!! When your fully maxed out taking on giant hoards of zombies !! The zombie hoard idea is also one of a kind in its execution and really get ur blood pumping , especially esrly game when u don’t have the best loot. Mechanics: Amazing gun handling and movement. Driving is also amazing and very fun as well, Overall it feels very polished and is at a high end of functionality with few to no bugs that I encountered through my 50-60 hours. Perks and weapon progression ones as cred for work you do for survivors camps. Some camps specialise in weapons others in your Vehicle, so it keeps u moving around the map , fast travel is available but the distance u can travel depends on your level of your vehicle. Mechanics wise it’s a A+ Story: Here’s where they fall short. Characters are absolutely amazing, loveable interesting, voice acting is also great, you really do feel an attachment. Whether it be a guy on the radio u love or the enemy u want to see torn apart by a Hoarde, characters are great. However the story itself feels very under whelming. Key pivotal parts of the story sort of just…… happen… Like…. I’ve just been playing 20hours for this and that’s it ??!! . The ending also falls flatter than a elderly person down an escalator. There are multiple endings and I’ve got 2/4 on the second to hardest difficulty. And it left me feeling quite sad…. Wasn’t not satisfying at all. The story really left me wanting more !! Characters are sort of just dropped, story lines also seem to just hit brick walls and are forgotten. Summary: Amazingly addictive, one of it’s kind in terms of the whole zombie hoard thing. Great progression system and perks and loveable characters. What holds this game back is it’s week delivery of the story. The actual story isn’t bad at all, but the game does leave unsatisfied at many points . 3/5 - great game with amazing replay laity and fun to be had, however the ending and delivery of the story can feel a little underwhelming, but in essence it’s still interesting
