Watching the show this evening, there was a story I found disturbing. The story was about a Nevada woman who was upset about how difficult it is for her to get financial assistance for her rent. She was a young black single woman with kids. She was wearing a very expensive hair weave, false eyelashes, had her nails perfectly done. I didn't notice her clothing or jewelry but why can't she afford rent? Can't give up the weave, false eyelashes and nails to pay rent!?!? What are our priorities? Why should the elderly who are unable to work sacrificing to meet their obligations while the government supports the living expenses of a family who spends their money frivolously. Some Senior Citizens can't even afford their necessities of life. Maybe CBS needs to re-think the message they are sending out.
