Loved this movie! The trailers were great because they set you up expectations and while the scenes did not come into fruition as expected, they delivered so much more in terms of comedy and sentiment! Also the writers.did an amazing job telling the story and ensuring little details weren't forgotten. I would have liked a bit more on Mary Elizabeth Winstead's character, perhaps some more backstory on Cassandra Cain (maybe some suggestion on her eventually becoming Batgirl?) and perhaps more explanation as to why Dinah Lance kept her identity secret (it's briefly discussed) However, overall the characters showed enough growth and development while still staying true to themselves. Not to mention the amazing acting by Margot Robbie! As a DC comic geek I loved the portrayals of the characters while still making it a good standalone for my non-geek friends who I watched it with. Overall I would highly recommend this movie for movie-lovers and comic-lovers alike! ❤️
