This was a terrible movie even if the plot wasn't imbecilic, as the acting is just so poor. According to prophecy Arthur will return in England, but Avalon High is in the United States. Arthur is supposed to come back to save England from dark times, but not only is it not in England, there are no dark times occurring, unless losing a football game counts as dark times. Mordred is Arthur's son, not his step-brother and certainly not his teacher. Somehow the step-brother divines that the teacher is really Mordred, so of course it should come as no surprise that Allie, a girl, is King Arthur. When a plot is driven by political correctness one should expect this awful flight of fantasy: pure drivel. Only if you are a kid with little knowledge of the Arthurian legend can this work for you. To top it off, the special effects are very un-special. I can only give this one stars (I would give it zero if allowed), as there is nothing redeemable about it.
