If you loved “Independence Day” then you are really going to hate this series. Just a badly written human drama with the alien invasion as the backdrop. Cities are being evacuated while the army is fighting the aliens but we don’t see any of this because the show is focused on the unhappy marriage of one of the protagonists for example. It just goes on an on like that working as hard as they can to avoid any scenes with aliens. Has a soap opera vibe, not an action or sci-fi vibe.
