Bonnie Price

These actors have been my favorites in so many movies over many years. I am sure the producer/director feels like he hit "pay dirt" to get these guys to accept these parts. I was intrigued also to see they were in this movie. But, there was disappointment, as the lead actors are so far beyond in years compared to the much younger ages of the characters they were representing, and the attempts to make them look younger are just plain ridiculous and goofy to look at. (You can make the young to look old, but no way can you make the old look young). Though these actors have been excellent in the past, they should have stopped while they were at the top of their art of acting. Their acting ability is top notch. But, they need to better fit the age category of their character. It would have been so much better and believable if they had used younger men to play the characters, and only used the older actors to represent the characters in the more advanced years of the characters. The story is certainly very interesting and captivating, but the old "always mafia" actors certainly detracted because their appearances distracted. The acting was great, as these actors are great, but the visuals were disappointing. I am sure others might not agree. I am sorry, as this is my personal opinion.
