This is probably the most consumer friendly cod to date. Gunplay is amazing but it's limited due to the games dominant slow paced gameplay in multiplayer. Don't believe reviews praising it since majority have been edited after players put some hours into the game. Also don't believe players who claim it to be as good as the original modern warfare series, it is far from that. The base game multiplayer is very frustrating when trying to play when the dominating style is camping and taking advantage power positions. Time to kill is very fast, literally exaggerating cods first to shoot first to win expression, and difficult to react to when enemies have multiple vantage points where they can cover rendering movement a risky play. even though players do say that there is a way to mitigate the camping problem with strategies and skill, you will always be at a disadvantage. Because of this the players are constantly talking trash online and being toxic. This can be said for a lot of games but this one takes the cake in toxicity. Aside from the excellent single there is no reason to purchase this game unless you're willing to put up with the many flaws and constant chore of playing games that usually end with time instead of score due to slow gameplay style, yes it is that slow. Go to warzone it is free and has all the updates and balances the community has been asking in the base game. Warzone is the best way to play this version of cod.
