Having read the book and then watched the movie the movie is awful. It improperly displays certain characters (I.E. Afghan president Karzai). The man who wrote the book (Michael Mahon Hastings) would be sorely disappointed if he were still alive. The journalist that brings down the General appears in fewer than 10 scenes despite him being the driving force behind the actual events. As its own movie its not bad. But in correlation with the real world events and the book its based on its an absolutely abysmal production.
