Is it just me or was the movie totally different from the book? I have listened to the autobook a number of times and I don't remember Howel turning into a monster, the scarecrow being sofies friend or a war! Mind you I listen when I'm falling asleep so it possible I missed something. I loved the adaptation of culsipher the fire demon and the moving castle. I enjoyed the movie for what it was but the book is better.
