Honestly, I feel that negative feedback is due to the lack of characters from the 1998 film. I like how Disney is changing a few things and not doing it exactly like the 1198 film movie. They are basing this film on the original origins of Mulan with a bit of the 1998 film. The trailer looks interesting enough to insure people that this film is not going to be a disaster.
