I was very nervous coming into this series because historically, TV adaptations of video games series have been abysmally handled. I believe The Witcher benefited from its numerous books because I loved season 1! I understand the urge to compare this to GOT but it is fundamentally a different series. I love the monster of the week aspect that the TV show took, it's able to bring in the feeling of choice and morality that made the games so great.
