Joy To The World

I really love every bit of this drama. Didn't expect it would be that good, I thought it will be a heavy drama but damn, there were some funny scenes where I had to pause because I'm laughing out loud! Kudos to all the actors here, they really did a great job portraying their characters! The combination of black comedy and drama will get you hooked. Trust me, this will touch your heart in unexpected ways like it did to me. The only downside of this drama is that it ended with only 16 episodes so I'm really hoping season 2 will push through coz there are still more stories to be told for other characters. This is truly highly recommended and I think I will watch it again (which I've never done with other kdramas I've watched so far).

The first time I watched this drama, I've got bored on the first episode so I stopped. However, due to quarantine, I re-browsed my Netflix list and tried re-watching it again. And indeed I'm glad I did coz the storyline is great, funny and heartbreaking at the same time. The first few episodes might really bore you, just as what it did to me, but please try to be patient as the story will really get you hooked until the end. I just wish that they've had put more scenes on the past story as I really love how well executed the characters are and the setting of that time is fascinating. The past story got me crying and heartbroken on the end but thankfully the present time balanced it out with a happy one. Another thing, coz of this drama, I fell in love with Yoo Ah-In, damn his portrayal with both of his characters here is really outstanding. This is why after finishing this drama I watched his other dramas. The other two leads did an amazing job as well.
