at max it's a 2.5/5 (spoiler alert) It's not an engaging movie because it's stretched a lot and there is very little storyline. This movie is for hardcore DC and batman fans, if you followed batman only from previous live action movies after bales batman don't even bother to watch this, u will not get what's going on over there, i took my friend who doesn't know DC universe well, he found it hard to understand what's going on i explained him a lot, most of the people in the theatre were sleeping at one point, there is only one proper fight scene, penguins chase scene is just okish. In this movie batman doesn't do much, even if u remove batman still this story line will happen, it's just batman and Gordon coming to the crime scene after Riddler has done what he's supposed to do, Riddler wanted to kill Bruce Wayne and he sends a box to his home saying "to Bruce's eyes only", how dumb is that, obviously others will open the box because he is a freaking billionaire,who in the right mind will open a suspicious looking box. This movie says it has explored the detective side of the batman, he does some detection work but director has failed to show Bruce Wayne's character properly.

I would give 4.5 but there is no option so giving 5, story of the movie is very smooth and you won't get bored not even for a minute but timeline they tell is bit hard to believe like Freeman spending 40 years in prison and still looking young and some logical loopholes like how the poster is hanged back while hero didn't had space to turn and had some documents tied to his leg, anyhow if we just ignore these things it is a wonderful movie to watch.
