I saw into the gates of hell and hell purred back.

I remember first seeing this with my late father in the early 70's. It was truly a culture shock and i would argue, kick started a decade of great movies. Unfortunately my father struggled to handle the true majesty of the film, and succumbed to pneumonia about half an hour in, still a great film, and I take comfort in the fact he is now one with Gooby, and to quote our lord and savior: "the ruck is ruggy"
