A proudly over-the-top gorefest. Robert Rodriguez manages to take two countries and exaggerate them to the brim to decorate the classic revenge story, and it's enjoyable to see all throughout. Everyone in this film really gets right into their characters and gives it their all. It may be ridiculous but it's just the right kind of ridiculous. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun romp!

It is one of the strangest and silliest films I have ever seen. And it's all done so amazingly. It's odd, it's awkward, it's funny, Rubber is one of those films that's so surreal, you just have to keep watching even if you think it's utterly ridiculous. I mean, it's a freaking tire that blows things up just by "looking" at them and vibrating. There is simply no reason for this film to exist. Zilch. That's what really makes it.
