Hear me out. I do not like movies that are supposed to be non fiction but then make up characters and events that never occurred or mess up timelines. We have brains and his real life was super entertaining we don't need any made up sensationalized story lines. The black man killer character didn't exist, the half native american and black boy- Sarah's son- did exist but was not shot in Reeves arms, his partner was not this character that is in the movie( what was wrong with his REAL partner?) and the timeline was straight up jacked up. It also made up this story of their marriage being fraught because of his work. I really think they should have based this story off of his daughter's interview in which she told the story of her father. Even the way he kills the cook isn't true. What's the point of watch lies? I also didn't buy David as Reeves, like at all. The supporting cast was really awesome though.
