What’s not to enjoy? A great western from the ‘good times’ with several stars! I have watched it many times and still enjoy it. If you don’t then just keep watching until you do! Bob England

It’s a good remake which in its self is unusual!? Assisted by a big budget and a stellar cast led by Hawkes and Fishbourne so from inception it left the original behind. I enjoyed it and yes some parts were expected however some parts were refreshing new. Watch it and I am betting you too will enjoy the ride. By the way I never give 5*s who/what is perfect? I rarely give 5* to any thing. However there nothing to complain about , one just has to watch as a 1946 movie. I f one try’s to watch as present day you find so much that doesn’t make sense. Watch in peace and one will just relax into a great film with a story that takes one on several journeys.

Well yes I did enjoy it! Sure it will never rank as an epic or classic nor will Oscar cast even a sideways glance. However it was a pleasing watch with some stars both new and old. One could do far worse. Bob

Great or good depending on your love of spaghetti westerns. Sunday afternoon, weeknight chill out without too much thinking to be done and you will be one or two happy viewers! Record as you watch so if you nod off or something you can return to the place last viewed, I did. Happiness! Bob England

Not much of film really, low production values and skimpy script so it didn’t have much of a chance!! No surprises however far better than most of the “Balkans” low budget films. Watch it but not as the centre of a big evenings entertainment, one can easily get more drinks and snacks from one’s kitchen without loosing the plot!! Keep a look out for Rods moustache!!

A real movie, I enjoyed every minute. The performers did their jobs very well and I feel they deserved more recognition, I had never seen Duvall be better and Bennington and Costner were at their best plus some. I don’t know the names of the others to name them however you shall see. Action, love, heartbreak, tension, story, expected yes in some ways but the director tried to send some false tracks!! He did as well!! So pleased to have given this film 2hrs plus.

Simply brilliant a film made without swearing, violence and sex. Now I am not against such films however it is wonderful to watch one and not miss the realism of todays films. Watch this film some brilliant performances and I am sure some up and comers in the background. I will be surprised if it’s not enjoyed just don’t expect any CGI etc.

Well yes it was a very good watch. Not every frame and some ‘wandering’ was rather obvious and pointless. I do feel a second viewing would open up more and more of the film. The three leads were good with Issac’s leading the way I feel. Dunsts character seemed naive and yet they were a con ‘team’ the blurb informed us. Hard to tell if she was flirting to keep Issac’s sweet or ………. ? So all I want to say as don’t want to give anything away. Enjoy, Bob England

Yes what was said by the critics is true however it’s a film worth watching as so much isn’t about their point of view. When watched read the Wikipedia stuff and links, you won’t be disappointed. Remember this HAPPENED!!! Not one critic was there.
