For a movie with a majority black leads the amount of careless mistakes made by the characters in this movie made it extremely hard to watch. For it to be set in preset times it wasn’t relatable at all. No modern day black person would make the choices they made in this movie with then knowledge we have. The entire scene where Veronica/Eden escaped got on my NERVES.
