A good movie but not as scary as the others in The Conjuring universe. The acting and dialogues are good. Vera and Patrick, as always, are fantastic. Having said that, at least a couple of scenes even had me laughing. There are some loopholes in the storyline which are too obvious. Overall though, the movie is entertaining.

TFB is a solid record. Super polished mixing. Sonically very rich. Very good tracks with some great ones like King Ghost, 12 Things I Forgot, Man of the People, and Count of Unease. Super cool use of vocoder on Man of the People. Count of Unease is a brilliant progressive ambient track and my favourite. Some parts of it gave me some strong Insurgentes (the pipe organ) and The Campfire Headphase (around midway if I remember correctly) vibe. It also reminded me of The Song of Unborn in its essence. The sound of the drums on Follower is reminiscent of The People Who Eat Darkness.
I'd rate the record a 4.5/5. It's nice to see the diversity of Steven's musical vocabulary. His efforts to diversify with each album are laudable. Needless to say that good audio equipment is a sine qua non to fully appreciate the sophistication of production. It sounds great on my Sennheiser Momentum TWS earbuds. As with any good record, TFB needs multiple plays to digest it properly. Last but not the least, Steven's thematic exploration of identity and consumerism on the record is some good food for thought. 🤙

Fear Inoculum is the avant-garde/prog metal juggernaut that the fans of Tool had been waiting for over a decade. It's a dense, multi-layered record that requires patient, multiple listens for it to unravel its many mysteries and subtleties not so easily identifiable/discernible in the first go. A good pair of earbuds is a sine qua non to appreciate the sound mixing.

When a movie mentions the one-electron universe postulate, you know it's different! Tenet is a skull-mangler, thought-provoking flick. Brilliant direction and riveting cinematography.
My favourite section from the movie is the transference of the algorithm between the protagonist and the inverted protagonist. That part is bonkers! A subtle symbolism that I really liked was the scene wherein the protagonist is being tortured and two similar-looking freight trains are shown coming and going simultaneously, alluding to the converging arrows of time, a narrative of time that's woven into the fabric of movie's storyline. I noticed it in my second viewing. It is surely a movie which rewards multiple viewings for the viewer begins to peel through the layers, and unravel the depths, of nuanced storytelling. Also, the soundtrack is epic!
The movie's going to satiate all the movie aficionados, particularly the sci-fi enthusiasts. In my opinion, it is one of the best offerings in Christopher Nolan’s oeuvre. Enjoy the ride!

Lovely record. The most avant-garde Puscifer have sounded till date. Stand out tracks are Grey Area, Theorem, UPGrade, Bullet Train to Iowa, and Bedlamite. Do watch the Live at Arcosanti concert if you can; it'll amplify your appreciation for the record. A good pair of earbuds/headphones is a sine qua non to appreciate all the little details. After several listens, I consider this to be my favourite Puscifer record.

A heavy jazz leviathan. The best in Tigran's oeuvre in my opinion. Very musical and groovy. Although all tracks are amazing, the standouts are Levitation 21 and Vortex. 2019 graced us with Tool's Fear Inoculum. 2020's musical landscape is enriched and enhanced by The Call Within. Multiple listens are recommended to notice and better appreciate the sonic subtleties.
