I saw this movie "Apocalypse Now " sometime in 1979-1980, some forty years back, but all those scenes, specially of helicopter attack on Vietnam school children still haunt me. The depiction of war, the jungle, effects of the war and tribal psychology of man was devastating for me. This film changed my view about Vietnam war. When the Vietnam war was going on I felt that it was just war by USA against Vietcong guerrillas and spread of communism. However after watching this film I felt that, no, it was all wrong, it was a war machine without any humanity.
