A bland middle of the road movie, super overrated. A lot of film students (myself not included) think its the best but I just think its boring. Bland performances too, no one seems too bothered by whats happening, it makes the pool scene way more funny than its supposed to be. (Shout out to the kid from Atypical missing and shooting his friend way in the background (another shout out to that friend who got shot for seeing a gun pointing in her direction and not getting on the ground/out of the way)). As stated previously, its just boring and overrated as hell. Plenty worse and plenty better horrors exist out there

Man, this has got to be the most boring yet somehow overhyped MCU product. There is so much you could do with the Moon Knight character and instead all we get is "oh man here comes Moon Knight! *blackout* *wakes up after action scene* oh boy did I do that?" Not to mention the show is very heavily "MCU-ified". In other words, a very complex character is wittled down to jokes and references and "lol I'm so awkward" humor. I wouldn't be so bothered by this if the critical response wasnt so overly positive. All the reviews I'm seeing are saying things like "the boldest Marvel's ever done, the MCU's most ambitious project yet!" Etc. Oscar Isaac has a terrible British accent (this mf says "innit" unironically), the love interest is boring and forced, the humor is lame and predictable. Its a shame too bc again, Moon Knight is a fascinating character and if Marvel could do him right and not turn him into a joke like all the others, that'd be great. Altogether a pretty crummy follow up to Hawkeye and What If.

Its alright. Its got some cool ideas but its waaaaaaaay too long. This could/should have been a short film about the dangers of technology or some such. The CG is impressive and the practical effects on some of the robots is really cool. I don't remember who plays the big bad terminator droid but WOW he is menacing. Its a shame he overstays his welcome a tad. I dont feel comfortable recommending this movie other than the first hour or so.

Peacemaker is arguably the most middle of the road show's I've seen and one of the most disappointing products of James Gunn's library. It has crazy great highs and absurdly low lows. For instance while I'm usually a fan of James Gunn's humor (i.e both GotG movies or The Suicide Squad which canonically precedes this). Whereas the humor in those was fast, witty, and most importantly funny, the jokes in Peacemaker are ok at best and cringy/dated at worst. I can very much hear Seth Rogen laugh when Peacemaker says "Superman has a poop fetish" or when one of the character's accidentally shares her gfs nudes with the group. Lets not forget about the HILARIOUS Powerpoint joke that doesn't last way too long at all, because thats what the kids are into these days right? Powerpoint? Jokes (literally) aside, the shows plot is pretty dang good, though I will say the first episode turned me off a little with the aforementioned hilarious jokes like "What if Peacemaker sang into a vibrator like a microphone? *Seth Rogen laugh*" But again the plot is very original and props to James Gunn for including more unheard of character's like Vigilante and other's who I will not spoil here, thats some nice fanservice right there. Also the theme song is amazing, once again James Gunn's OST knocks it out of the park. To sum it up, I...guess I recommend this show? If it was all jokes then my rating would be lower but as I said earlier the story and the Soundtrack make up for the lack luster humor. (Now if only James Gunn would stop acting like this show is the magnum opus of superhero comedy and attacking those who say otherwise on IG)

To quote Bojack Horseman "It has nothing to say, and it says nothing badly" the film reeks of "Im 14 and this is deep" dialogue, the only reason why this is getting good reviews is because people haven't seen a new movie in months. Worries me that movies like this could honestly be seen as good. Its not a comedy at ALL, except in a "what the heck is going on, haha" sense but even that's a stretch. The "story" if you can call it that does not have a satisfying conclusion or climax. TL;DR movie bad. Don't watch.
