This book is seriously so good i love it so much it’s a new comfort book of mine surprisingly. it did make me cry a couple times. If you get trigger by these topics (sexual assault, sexual harassment, self harm and depression topics) it can seriously trigger you and make you’re anxiety play up, it did for me even tho i’ve never experienced what Mel went through herself. Other than that it’s beautiful, it shows mel slowly move on in her own pace and ways. showing that healing can be horrifying and traumatising for you. The part when she was on live tv in her mind was beautiful to me, because i’ve been there and had a conversation with someone that understood me completely and said the right things made me realise what happened. idk where i was going with this
